Diamond cut refurbishment consists of painting a wheel as normal, however, prior to the last step of lacquer, wheels are place in a CNC Lathe also known as Diamond Cut Machine.
In the machine, a diamond tip runs across the surface of the wheel. This produces a two tone effect. The silver-looking sections of the wheel are actually raw metal.

Wheels are first acid dipped to remove previous paint, then blasted to prepare the surface for painting.
We use powder coat method of painting, which gives the powder and wheel opposite electric charges to allow paint to sit perfectly flat. This method produces high quality finishes every time!

At the Alloy Refurb Centre, we paint all four brake calipers. We use high quality paint that is heat resistant to temparatures of over 300°c, and our expert technicians apply the paint with high level of skill.
